January 4, 2017 - A new study out in Nursing Outlook compared care to three groups provided to Medicare beneficiaries by PCNPs and physicians to evaluate cost and quality measures. The study found that quality of care provided by PCNPs was overall consistent with the care provided by physicians and resulted in less costly health interventions.
